Dayton comes in to Duquesne this afternoon to take on a very hot Dukes team. Duquesne is 10-2 ATS this year and 6-0 ATS in conference games (also 6-0 SU in conference games).
The Dukes have been a major surprise after being picked 7th in the preseason A-10 poll.
Dayton meanwhile comes off a tough home loss to Richmond. Their leading assist man Staten was ineffective while fighting a flu bug. This is a huge game for them at 3-3 in the Atlantic 10.
Dayton has more overall talent with Staten, Johnson, and Wright. Duquesne has definitely overachieved but they are a case of a team that plays better overall than the sum of their parts.
I think Dayton's talent and desire to get a big win shows through today.
