-Citadel has had weak schedule but good teams seem to D them up (ex Charlestown).
-UNCG plays solid D and doesn't foul too much (avg 63 a game and one of Citadels strengths is FT%)
-Citadel plays no defense at all and looks for steals which leads to easy points (let up over a hundred)
-8-2 H2H lifetime with differential over 10 (means nothing but still)
Cons:
-UNCG doesnt rebound well
-Line moving wrong way
-not great away team
I think that it will be a rare looking game but when its all said and done the 3 ball and bad defense will help UNCG run away- thinking closer to ~18 than 8...
whatcha think?

Taking UNC Greenoro -8 verse Citadel. LARGE
Reasons:
-Better team- Huge difference in KenPom standings

El Cid is dependent on speeding you up. They require turnovers and easy layups, or quick three-point shots in Daugar Baucoms loot and shoot system. There are usually tons of files and tons of foul shots in their games, and that usually dominate the offense of glass against weaker competition but against better foes their lack of Millatti to rebound needs to easy run out. Virginia Tech had easy walk in layups all day versus them.
Citadel plays well at home. If their opponents are interested in running at all, the game will go over the total. The problem is when you have Charleston, UNC Greensboro of the past, Samford teams from before, when Dougar was at VMI, Who would refuse to be sped up, and actually change their game plan to play at a snails pace.
I hope that's not what we see tonight, but I have a feeling UNCG Will be adamant about keeping the game at a slow pace. That changes how they typically operate, and makes the game tough to cap.
I have played every Citadel over this year, with exception to game 1 vs C of C. This is the only other team that I would not play the over.
At 183, both teams will have to be in the 90s. I don't think UNC Greensboro game to get there.

Agree Shula, much like yourself been making a bunch of Citadel totals. I typically take a look at the lower first half total which currently sits at 84.
If I had any confidence that UNCG would run with the, I'd play this over but I think this total is a bit too high.

Betallwinners layed out the stats with no room for any questions...............when Citadel played Va tech........you can prolly find it in his thread.........The coach at the Citadel will run........and then some..........that is why you have to be careful with this team
Va tech vs UNCG.........weigh the two programs......and you will have your answer.......
.they have the ability to hang with teams.......loot and shoot that was mentioned above.....
if you want to go large on something........may be lower hang'n fruit than this game
