Duke is by far the better basketball team right now.
Carolina has one shooter currently eligible in Marcus Paige. They are one dimensional right now and easy to defend. If Hairston and McDonald return, that will change dramatically.
Carolina has a lot more size than Duke and should hurt them on the backboards.
In the Roy Williams era, Carolina traditionally gets better as the season progresses while Duke tends to play well out of the gate. Sometimes Duke sustains it and sometimes they fade.
I expect Carolina to get thumped a few times early but IF Hairston and McDonald are part of this team at some point, watch out late.
THEY DON'T PLAY UNTIL FEB 12TH.
AND NOT A CHANCE THAT DUKE BEAT'S THEM BY 40 PLUS.
