Just curious why you lean Ill St? Besides the line, see no reason to like them? Line is a head shaker. No Iowa playing better and beat them 2x. I know it is hard to beat a team 3x in a season but just curious why u like them. I know they have talent and were favorites to do well in the conference and showed some of it mid season in conference

As you said, it's awfully hard to beat someone 3x's in a season. Can it be done? Absolutely. But I'll play the percentages... And the fact that after beating them twice already (including 6 days ago) they're only a pk? I'm inclined to believe that means something.
In their first meeting, Ill St., who shoots a fair amount of 3's shot just 2-18 from distance. They lost by 10, so even if they go just 5-18 instead, that's 9 points right there... Not to mention NIU outshot them from the FT line 24-5. Don't see either of these scenarios happening again. (Final NIU 70, ISU 60)
In the second matchup, NIU physically asserted themselves over ISU particularly on the boards where they outrebounded ISU 40-25. They once against outshot them from the FT line, 35-20. The one bright spot for ISU? They shot better... (Final NIU 80, ISU 72)
Illinois St. has a tendency to show up in the MVC tournament as evidence by their run to the Finals last season. I'm not ready to say that will happen again, but they can certainly make a run.
That, along with the fact that NIU hasn't won a game in the MVC tourney since 2010... I like ISU here given that seemingly all signs point to take NIU
