FAU over SD St

SD St run will end this time. Their offense will not catch up with FAU.

FAU will shoot themselves cold with 3 pointers as they always do. So long as SDSU can sustain their own scoring drought it's time for the owls to whooo whooo back to the beach. Overall, SDSU more complete. Lucky for the hooters to be in the outlast 4.

Creighton could shoot as well and when they score they score.

Aztecs were able to keep the game in the 50s.

FAU are good but same thing applies….can SD St keep the game in the 50s-60s? Anything higher and it’s FAU again 

FAU is a dream match up for SDS. 

You do realize SDS is top 5 defensive team in the country?  They will shut down the 3 point shooters for FAU.  Also, FAU is lucky to be here. They should have lost to Memphis. The Zebras bailed them out. 

Love hearing these guys say FAU is lucky to be here. Some luck to keep winning game after game. If the other teams were truly that dominant then there is no excuse not to win a game. Truth is, there was no true dominant team this year and most knowledgeable NCAA viewers knew and acknowledged that. It was a wide open tourney from the start.

Creighton kind of shit the bed and went on s tremendous scoring drought. Gonna be a great game but I don’t think SD St offense will hang. FAU has better guard play. 

I don’t want to say I got fooled taking KSU because I am a hoMer, but I didn’t ask myself why is FAU only +1.5 to KSU? Why is FAU only +1.5 to SD St?! I thought SD St was a Final Four team back in November but I think guard play wins this and FAU has better guards and their 7 footer isn’t soft as Charmin like Kalkbrenner.

 You say handle I say implode...FAU is not balanced with their incessant 3 point shooting. They just chuck up 3's most of the time. When those go in you can't stop them but that's like any other team. SDSU's defense is always there and if those 3's are not going in then FAU will be in trouble. They have no interior balance and SDSU's defense is far superior than most teams. Has been all year. If the game stays in the 50's or 60's SDSU prevails. Defense travels well but offense comes and goes. Not saying SDSU will manhandle FAU but they have more resolve on the defensive side of the ball to get past this FAU team. However, the way I see it is that FAU shoots themselves out of the game with endless 3 point shots because I don't see many points in the paint with this group against SDSU. Make those 3's and SDSU cannot hang but shoot a low percentage beyond the arc and SDSU wins by double digits.
