Worthbob reporting, $$$$7-3-1$$$$, 70%. Not many putting their neck on the line tonight. I am going to post a two team pick write up, sorry Bubbaski, may be against the rules, but only an hour before game time. My first play, my $$$$ play is on Syracuse +9.5$$$$.
Not going to go into player matchups, etc. These teams know each other. Neutral court, advantage Syracuse +9.5. Boeheim vs Williams X's and O's, Boeheim by a lot, advantage Syracuse. Last five games, ATS Syracuse covers 3-1-1. Advantage Syracuse. All total ATS, Syracuse: 20-15 total, UNC :18-18-2, AWAY GAMES, Syracuse: 9-6, UNC 4-7,LAST 10 GAMES ATS, both teams 7-3, push. 3 POINT PER GAME AVG. : Syracuse 8.53. UNC 5.5.
Many statistical things support Cuse. Now, coaching really supports Cuse
Lets talk about the zone. UNC has played against this zone defense. Last 2 games have been within 5 points with 2 minutes to play, Cuse lost by 11, and 5. If Cuse can rebound on the DEFENSIVE END. CONTROL THE TEMPO, THEY NOT ONLY COVER THEY WIN OUTRIGHT. BIG IF.
UNC will want to run and score 80 plus points. Syracuse can control the tempo and keep this game in the 60's they will cover easily.
Now, for my non $$$$ play, short and sweet, Villanova -2. Nova ATS total 20-17, Oklahoma 14-20. Last 10, Nova 6-4, Okla 3-7, free throw % Nova 78.36%, Okla 72.34%. Revenge game from a 23 point defeat Dec.7. Love Nova i this spot. Get it on. Good luck !
