So let me get this straight. You want to fire a Coach who has won the NCAA tournament and has a 70 plus percentage win record? GET OFF THE WEED!
I understand frustration I had them mainline in a 5 dollars to win 900 dollar fun bet which was looking great and now is toast. The fact his no coach in the country is getting these young rich talented brats to a National title. Kentucky will never win another title with their current system of being basically an NBA prep team of Freshmen every year.
Coach Cal needs a come to Jesus moment. He needs to recruit DOWN and not get the best possible players. I know it sounds stupid but he can recruit good promising players and leave the NBA darlings to other teams. He is a good coach and can have a shot at the National Title with his team of good players which will be with him for at least 3 years if not 4.
Kentucky fans are sick of this they want a real team to root for and follow for years not one and done strangers who are all flash and not really interested in working hard for a title.
Keep Coach Cal and drop this stupid system it is not working for Big Blue Nation!

He had a great presser at the end. Like he said, the average age of the team is 19, they faced a team that the average age was 24. With NIL, you aren’t seeing the one and done teams anymore. You’re seeing a lot more guys staying in school now because they’re getting paid. He needs to offset the 5 5 star recruits he gets yearly with some transfer portal 22-23 year olds to balance the roster out.

Calipari was not prepared. It’s like they never even watched the scouting report on Gohlke. The guy had over 300 three-point attempts for the year. And you don’t even cover him. How does Gillingham and Shepherd not take a shot until the 15 minute mark in the first half. The last 10 tournament games (SEC and March Madness) Kentucky is 2-8 straight up and favored in every game.
Shame on anyone that thought Calipari would be able to lead this team.

but he’s a liar. His average age isn’t 19 and the team he’s playing doesn’t have an average age of 24.
frankly, he tried that 2 years ago to try and get ahead recruiting and failed miserably.

I wouldn't mind if they kept him for the recruiting because there is no denying he gets the best players. He just can't coach, motivate, prepare or however you want to put it once the Tourney starts. The last 5 or 6 years in the Tournament have been a joke. I know he gets a lot of one and dones but c'mon man last night was pathetic. That guy that hit the 10 3's has the night of his life but Shepard looked like he was either paid off or just plain scared. Dillingham want much better and some of this has to fall on the coach at some point. He won a Chip with Anthony Davis but seriously he's one of the best basketball players in the world(when he wants to be). And he prolly had a couple of NBA players beside him on that team also!! The point is we're starting to get a pretty large sample size of his work in the big games. That team he had that lost to Frank the Tank and the boys from Wisconsin almost had 2 NBA starting lineups on it. They prolly can't get rid of him now as someone else said because they owe him like 33 million but it's getting time for him to hit the exit!!
