SYR -7 vs G'Town

 

I figured -4 since G'Town has won so many game sin a row.

Looks like SYR might be the play????

I posted in someone else thread that from what I've watched over the last couple weeks that Baylor appears to have mailed it in. I just cant see them really wanting this game and Oklahoma really needs it as a resume builder

Baylor has been slumping lately, and Oklahoma has been rising, beating KU and only losing @OKST in OT.  I see Oklahoma winning by 7-10.

Alabama plus 2.5 at LSU. Seems like LSU should be the underdog.

I too figured cuse would be about 4 or 5 so was surprised by the 7. But more because if the history and rivalry . No to mention that Gtwn always plays cuse tough And...The teams have played 87 times since 1930, and 20 games have been decided by two points or less, 39 by five or fewer, and 12 that have gone to overtime.

I absolutely hate these threads.

THERE ARE NO FISHY LINES... just people who don't understand how a line is made.

Most teams will get 4 points for being at home. If Syracuse were -4 that would mean Syracuse and Georgetown are equal. And they are not. Not even close. Georgetown stringing together a couple wins doesn't change that. Oddsmakers do not overreact.

The line opened Syracuse -7 because they are 3 points better than Georgetown.

If this game were in Georgetown the line would be Georgetown -1. And people would be screaming it's a fishy line the OTHER way because people constantly undervalue home court. And again, they don't understand how a line is made.

Why in the world do you think bama should be a favorite???  This line is spot on.  LSU is tough at home and Bama has no one to stop Bryant who went off in their first meeting.  Bama had the free throw edge with 33 shots to 14, but I also would say bama will not shoot 2 for 18 fr0m 3.  Coming from someone that goes to all bama home games, I would have to take LSU here as we always falter in places like these.

I would have to say my home town Rebels. laying -2.5 on the road. Considering the lack of scoring for the Rebs and there level of play on the road this line to me is fishy.
