21-20-2 YTD. 2-0 Sat and 5-0 on last 5 plays.

USF is coming off of an exhausting double OT game on short rest. I did some research on this and playing a unique angle.  I have reviewed 5 Double/Triple OT games this season. Teams coming out of those games are a combined 2-8 (straight up) in their following game. The only two winners were Kansas and Houston who played each other in the 2OT. Both did fail to cover their next game as favorites and Kansas nearly lost to UCF at home.

USF played on Thursday and has a day Sunday game. Wichita State has had a longer layoff and will have fresher legs.

The analytics do favor USF here, but I do believe the fatigue factor and quick turnaround is a real thing and will put my money behind it as a one unit play.

Did you include Clemson 3OT loss at home, then 3 days later beat Duke?  Good coaches overcome bad beats, and recover fast.  Having said that, I agree with your selection but for different reasons, simply put, home court advantage will be tempered due to pre Super Bowl party mode!

This situation was a little bit different as USF were honoring there coach Amir Abdur-Rahim who had just recently passed who recruited all those guys and had a great relationship with.  That was a lot to carry emotionally for not only themselves and the fans but his family in attendance along with 2 OTS that can be very draining
