The Noles have taken a couple brutal losses lately and BC hasn’t been lighting up the scoreboard. I usually play in the hockey forum, but this game interests me. I like FSU -6. Thoughts anyone...am I missing something. Appreciate any input and have a great championship Sunday

I am taking FSU here as well. BC has struggled mightily since conference play has started. Bowman has been good, not great, and he needs to be great for BC to win in the ACC. Their starting center, Nik Popevic, has played surprisingly well as of late. Unfortunately, FSU rolls out very quality big men, and should negate and/or have the advantage in that matchup. I am looking to play FSU both 1H and full game.
FWIW, I am a BC season ticket holder. Doesnt mean I'm certain to be right, but I have yet to miss a game this season, and see this game being a blowout.
Also, snowstorm up here in Boston. Dont think the student turnout will be all that great, lending towards homecourt not being as much of an advantage as may be otherwise. The BC student section isnt rowdy in general, anyways.

I’m BC alumni so I can remember several games like that in my years there. Plus with the Patriots playing later in the day I’m sure most Bostonians are content to stay at home. My uncle and cousin are still season ticket holders for hoops and football and they said the same thing basically hell with it watch the game on tv and get prepared for the Pats game. Lol I’m sure you know what that entails. Best of luck and thanks for the input

Handicapping games is tough enough but when both teams stink it makes the task even more difficult. A no-play game for me and I'll be looking elsewhere on today's card but GL fellas.

I totally agree and somehow FSU, pending the new poles, is still ranked 11th pending which poll you use and they’ve lost 3 of 4 and are 1-3 in ACC play and BC is 0-4. FSU needs this game badly for conference play and their RPI is still 20 compared to 136 for BC. Just looking for some early am action out here on the west coast

Well, losing 3 of 4 isn't very pretty. Granted they gave Duke one helluva game. Not excited about today's early card all around but on second thought I decided to take FSU and Iowa in a ML parlay. Wish I could pull the trigger on covering the -6 but they just don't pass my trust test.

Here’s my take as an FSU fan... Many referred to the Duke game as the biggest in FSU history and to lose like they did was no doubt devastating. I think the loss carried over into the Pitt game. Talent wise, they should have their way with BC, BUT.... since November, they have only covered maybe to games after being easy money at the start of the year before the oddsmakers caught up. This is only their 4th true road game (Beat Tulane early, then lost @ #4 UVA and their most recent game @ Pitt. They traditionally struggle on the road with ACC teams they should beat and because of that, in addition to not knowing where their heads are after their their last 2 games, I would approach this game with some caution . On talent alone, this should be an easy win, but too many other factors that make them untrustworthy to me.

FSU haven't covered an ACC road game in over two years. they're 0-6 within that time span. meanwhile BC has done well for themselves as a home dog recently. it's very hard to gauge what kind of team shows up for FSU. they have big problems scoring onthe road and they turn the ball over a ton on offense. luckily for them, BC isn't very good at forcing turnovers on d. BC tends to keep these meetings at home pretty close.
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing
