Weird day yesterday with my big play on Pepperdine PPD and then the Auburn bet goes up in smoke along with Broome's ankle. That kind of season so far. Not good.
One play for today...
Colorado -2: Absolutely huge game for the Buffaloes. Off to an 0-3 start in conference play and off a heartbreaking 1-point loss at UCF, I think we get a huge effort here. West Virginia is really banged up right now and now have to face a hungry and desperate Colorado team at elevation. After getting smoked by Arizona, their Cinderella start may be coming to an end. Think Hammond, coming off a big 26-point breakout game at UCF, leads the way to a 74-66 type win. Going 1.5 units on this puppy.

Tulsa -1.5: My record on some of these speculative plays is not good but got some time on my hands today with the GF away, so I'm gonna do it. Neither one of these underachieving teams have been very good despite playing less than challenging non-conference schedules, but I am going with the home team on a short line here. Tulsa coming off what now looks like a decent conference road win over UTSA, who smacked Wichita State around yesterday. I do put stock in 'luck' ratings and Tulsa (341st out of 364 teams) have been among the unluckiest this season. Think they grind out a 7 or 8 point win in a mundane affair between 2 teams that don't exactly like to push the pace. Only going 0.5 units.
