Futures: 2010-11: 2-6-1 -1.08U 2011-12: California to win the Pac-12 (+375): 0.5u

Notes: -Most bets in a long long time and I was on a plane so I saw none of it -A bad number finally got me with Akron dropping the game in OT despite a 12-point lead in regulation -Yale with a tight loss @Wake Forest -Vandy smacked Marquette around maybe that means they're ready to start playing like we thought they would -Easy over on just an awful number in the BYU-SMC game

GWarner you were spot on on the CofC line and wondering what your take was on that game? I've got it at -4 and considering making a play on it tonight. Mason's not looking like the same team as in the past, minus Coach Larranaga, and just lost at home. CofC just put up a good fight at Lou. I know that those two reasons alone aren't good ones to jump on this game, but CofC beat them by 2 in a similar spot last year, any thoughts appreciated. By the way I made a small bet on URI last night, thinking that the situation there, canning Wilson, would fire up this squad especially the two newcomers. Baron lite it up, and the rest of the team responded. Not sure what to think about their game with CFla tonight, going to just sit back and see if they continue to make an effort. Thanks in advance. Yeah, I thought that was an interesting move considering he looked like the only one who could score. Maybe he's a Reeves Nelson-type whose absence will help more than his presence, but I was surprised about the move and the win yesterday to be honest...
As for CofC, I lean your way I'm just pissed I missed the opener at 2 which I would have played for sure. Charleston has a great defender in Wiggins who should limit Ryan Pearson with his length, but their offense isn't exactly trustworthy and if you look at Mason's stats they've been playing really well this year despite the disappointing record (by their standards). Home court should make this line a bit higher than it is, but I was hoping to get a possession or under one for this so I'm not sure where I'm going as of yet

Like the WVU play, I'm on it as well. Seton Hall was exposed @Cuse and WVU has been playing really well lately. Even though I hate WVU, I love watching Kevin Jones play.
I'm also on Washington +1000 to win the Pac-12. I think they have the most talent in the conference (and best player in Wroten), but Cal is definitely the most complete team. It should be between Cal and Stanford, I just hope Washington can put it all together and make a nice run at it. Good luck to you, i always enjoy reading your notes/threads

I don't think Stanford will be around at the end to be completely honest. It's Washington, Arizona or Cal and I can't blame you for the UDub play besides the fact that they have been so bad on the road in the last few seasons. Arizona has a ton of flaws and goes to Cal for their only meeting, while the Bears get to play Utah and Colorado twice and that's huge.
Here's my WVU reasoning: -I know it's a square play, especially after the Hall got waxed @Syracuse, but there are only a few days remaining until the square plays start to lose and I want to take advantage of one of the last remaining ones. To put it simply, WVU is going to kill SHU on the boards and the Pirates have nothing they can do about it. Herb Pope is great, but he's undersized for even the 4 position and the rest of the squad can't help him on the glass. Huggins sends his entire team to rebound it seems, and they'll get a ton of 2nd chances if they can get the ball down the floor against the SHU press. The Prudential Center isn't exactly a scary place to play and the only way SHU wins this game is if they shoot lights out and they just don't have the players to do that anymore now that Jeremy Hazell is gone. Edwin can slash his way to the basket, but WVU won't allow that. Jordan Theodore lives at the line, but I'm sure the 'Neers will do everything they can not to foul him and force him to make shots over taller defenders in traffic. Offensively WVU isn't much but I'd much rather have Kevin Jones on my side than against me late in a tight game. Deniz Kilicli should be able to have his way on the interior and Truck Bryant's size will be a factor when Theodore guards him. WVU turnovers and great shooting from SHU could keep the Pirates in the game, but even then I think WVU will prevail so I have to play the +1 as it will take a perfect storm to beat me.

how do you like mizzou i mean have they really been tested!!? i dont think old dominion is great to be honest and il put my money where my mouth is...
I had ODU +18 or something crazy like that last year in Columbia and they got worked.
This Monarch team still plays great D but they are severely limited on offense and can't keep up if the Tigers hit their shots. Mizzou has been bad on the road the past few seasons and their style of play is probably to blame for it (which hasn't changed), but I wouldn't exactly want to fade them
