I'm new at this stuff anybody out their with helpful hints, please give them to me on how to be a winner.

good luck 10pointer,,I try to look at how the teams past history has been when they played. Also,usually more recent history,since players change every couple years. I also follow how certain teams play on the road,and at home,what their home court advantage usually is worth. Keep tract of injuries,and watch if any what player is out,and what % of the teams scoring,rebounding etc they mean. If the team is on hot streaks,cold streaks,etc,how one matches up against the other rebounding,3pt range,turnovers,etc,,all are factors in trying to figure it out. And then after all that,you think you got it figured out,and BOOM,there it goes out the window,it happens. Last night I had a 10 team parlay,and hit 9 out of the 10,the only one I lost was Ind as a 9 1/2 point favorite,I had them on the ML and MN went there and beat them Straight up

#3 bet with money you can afford to lose
#4 for college hoops find some conferences you're good at. There's so many teams the oddsmakers have to get the duke game right they could care less about south dakota. In my opinion Try to specialize in a big conference a medium conferences and an obscure one
#5 if you lose pay on time
#6 this one is my opinion but if you choose to play teasers stick to football. Again that's my opinion
#7 don't bet a game because it's the final 4 or the rose bowl you don't get paid less for a winner in the NIT than the Final 4
