TheSalehrol,
First off welcome aboard to the forum and I hope that you have a great year.
I enjoy reading others post, their insights and thoughts on a matchup. I know that it takes a lot of time to do a writeup, however I see way to many forum members that rarely if ever do writeups, no matter whether the writeup is short, medium or long.
IMHO way to many guys just post plays with not any sort of comments as to how they reached their decision to make a particular play. Granted everyone does not have the time, however occasionally reading how someone arrived at their conculsion sure builds credibility and respect, no matter whether their play is a winner or not.
It's a breath of fresh air and nice to hear that an experienced capper is willing to contribute to the forum in a meaningful way. So hopefully you will be able to take the time every once and a while to do a write up of some length....it would be great. Reading how and experienced capper thinks, reasons and comes to his decision would be invaluable to casual cappers and novices like myself. Welcome aboard.
Now on your play today ..... Fresno State +5.5 regretably I am on the other side.
These teams played each other only 8 days back in Fresno and Fresno was a 5 point favorite and lost 69-61.
Thesalehrol .... read this cut and paste below
Fresno State had only three assists in a victory at UC Riverside and a loss at Southern Illinois, the fewest by a Mountain West Conference team in a game this season, and is averaging a league-worst 8.2 per game, down from 11.3 a year ago when ranked last in the WAC.
The Bulldogs also have turned the ball over 12.3 times per game, up from 10.7 a year ago.
The four returning players playing the most minutes -- Olekaibe, Johnson, Jerry Brown and Kevin Foster -- all are shooting at lower percentages than they did a year ago when the Bulldogs were last in the Western Athletic Conference in scoring and seventh of eight in field goal percentage.
Olekaibe, who was out with an elbow injury and returned to practice full-time only a week before the season started, has hit 32.7% of his shots, down from 37.2. Johnson is at 40%, down from 42.2. Brown has hit 44.4%, down from 48.2. Foster is at 36.7, down from 42.3.

The Salehrol.....anyway, I know that Long Beach State is traveling to Syracuse and Ohio State in a few days and will be heavy dogs in both games. I feel that tonight the coaches will have them pumped to give maximum effort to get the "W" in this spot. I do not see them coming out flat. I feel that Fresno state has more presurre to play at a higher level. I like this spot.
No matter the outcome, I wish you well this season and look forward to your input. GLTU
