Yes. Times were different back then. They're wasn't the proliferation of information available with ease of access to the masses as there is now and lines ARE tighter on lower ranked lesser known teams.
Maybe try teams ranked lower than 300
I still use kenpom tho

You're so right about that! It's just funny that I automatically look for those crappier teams' lines to find an edge. He was on to something back then, for sure! I still use KenPom too..
