I don’t know what is worse the basketball being played or the announcers

Colorado st vs San Diego st, I’ve seen better high school games in terms of hoops. Jess settles and Jenny cavnar, settles was solid tough player at Iowa isn’t terrible calling game but needs a better commentating partner. 

I thought Jenny Cavnar did a solid job. The sound of her voice isnt distracting and her calls were succinct. She let the crowd take over in big moments. She won sportscaster of the year in 2021 in Colorado and has done some Rockies play by play. I really couldnt hear them both ...the crowd was over powering on my TV, maybe it was my settings. The color guy was ok; I wasn't too annoyed.

I tend to listen to most games with the volume off anyway. 

A lot of female commentators nowadays some good some bad. Same with the men tho

They have force fed us female announcers at all levels now and the overwhelming majority are fucking brutal...abysmal in sports knowledge..nails scratching chalkboard like voices....awful laughs.....another by product of our "woke" country....wish we could go back to sleep

I'm able to focus on the game more when the volume is all the way down. I find the announcers distracting and sometimes annoying. I can take the game in better without volume.

 A few weeks ago the Vegas Golden Knights were on the national ESPN broadcast. There was a female announcer that had the most irritating drab monotone voice I have ever heard. I am 68 so I have heard a lot of them through the years. I had to turn the volume off.
