As a die hard Aztecs fan, I certainly wish you good luck with that Aztecs bet , brother. I really hope our squad pull's off the upset in this first round matchup. Which, btw, was a ridiculous seed for the Aztecs to begin with. I mean, how does a squad that finished with a 25-8 overall record, a ridiculous RPI of 18, that beat 3 ranked team's(#8 New Mexico twice, UNLV twice, once while they were ranked #23 and the second time on their home court for the MWC title) and won 9-10 down the stretch, get a freaking #11 seed???
Meanwhile, UNLV(who the Aztecs finished with an identical record with, with a substantial higher RPI and ended up beating 2-3 time's, with one of their 2-3 win's coming on UNLV's homecourt for the MWC Title) end's up with an 8 seed???
Regardless, I certainly hope my Aztec's emd up pulling the upset over the #15 ranked Vols, despite the ridiculos seeding from the the either barindead, or biased commitee.

I LOVE UTEP!
I live in a Horizon League team city and have seen Butler play many times over the past few years, and my respect for that program has never wavered. They are a really good team. However, I have seen UTEP play 3 times on TV and twice in person, and they are the real deal. The only way that I see Butler winning this game, is if Culpepper and Caracter get into foul trouble early. Butler doesn't have the depth that they've had in the past few tournaments, and we've seen Butler struggle when Hayward is having an off night. I love Mack as a player, but UTEP can get after it defensively and they have big, long guards that are extrememly athletic.

I like them wire to wire in this one. I even played UTEP +1.5 for the 1H!
