Kentucky was the swing game last night, the 1point miss had me at 5-5 yesterday; time to go to work:
The
Red Storm, 0-9 against ranked opponents for the nation's worst mark,
have some reason for optimism. They were within three points with 6 1/2
minutes left in the first matchup, and star freshman Moe Harkless
fouled out with 5:16 to go and the margin at eight. However, they have
lost 2 straight by 20+, Stith has withdrawn from the team and I have to
question what kind of shape st johns young legs are in right now as the
season is beginning to wear kids down, not to mention everything else
going on, a guy in the program scalping big east tourney tickets,
etc.... I'm going to lay the wood here.....

Illinois recently had eight straight games decided by five points or
less (Jan. 4-Feb. 5). That was the UI's longest streak of the modern era
and its longest in 83 years. Illinois has lost 5 of their last 6, but
every one of them close. The Indiana final is a bit of a farce as
Indian shot a million free throws and Illinois shot very well from the
field. I like a close one here, I also think they get over the 119.
Illinois +5 Over 119
good luck all

E. Tip - thanks for your posts. Still over .500. keep on posting. Any thoughts on tomorrows big match up Cuse/Cardinals. I am thinking that Louisville can out play the zone and cover the spread.
