wth did texas tech not foul on that play, the damn team is up 3 pts, why wouldn’t foul and not put VA in a position to even take a 3???

Too much time left on the clock.. no fouling is the right play.

Culver jacking up 3 at the end is not the right play that too with 7 secs remaining.

He is 0-6 from 3 and he keep jacking up 3s whenever it is a tie game or close game. He costed them the game and championship.

Credit to Virginia for showing up clutch whenever they are down late. 3 games in a row.

I agree they should have, but it can sometimes backfire.

Plus Tech's D is very very good. Still, it didnt work so it was the wrong thing to do.

Most undeserving champs ever. Couldnt put anybody away. Should have lost all 3 of their last games. Still, that's why I backed them tonight they just always survived no matter what happened.

seriously are even questioning this situation and telling me that NOT fouling was the right call? do you guys know anything basketball, im just upset bc the way VA endinf in the championship and winning it all, after the purdue game and the auburn, fouling with the shot clock off was the right call no matter how much time was left, if this would of happened in the NBA the coach would of gotten fired in a championship game 7 game where a team is up by 3 with the shot clock off

are you kidding me? ya 14 seconds, they should of fouled them as soon as they crossed mid field, and NEVER gave them a chance to even put a 3

theres 2 things here, #1 TTu didnt know when he was shot it, 2nd issue this is college they dont inbound from half court after a time out, and 3rd you ur by 1 regardless, you have put out you top 5 free throw shooters and play the def off game

haha true. that to me is what costed the game. who will jackup the 3 with 7-8 secs remaining. By that time he was already 0 off 5 from 3. 

Take a time out, draw the play and drive and get the layup or foul or atleast put the ball in Mooney or someones hand if they really want to shoot a 3 with time about to expire. It may have still went to OT, but they completely messed up that last possession.

in the NBA there saving 5-6 by starting at half court after a time out, so lets do this, 14 seconds -5 9 seconds left in the game under 10 seconds thats not the right way to finish up the game?

too risky to foul with 16 secs remaining. Virginia is better FT shooting and if they make both there its a 1 point and Tech on one and one at that time and Tech is not a consistent FT shooting team through the season.

There are so many factors why they shouldnt foul or what could go wrong if they fouled. Too much time left is the main one.

bottom line, Beard coached this game like a amatuer 

Beard is an amazing Coach. Texas Tech doesn't have much talent, stop it. Both of these coaches are great. You have zero idea about anything involving basketball. Coach K did a shite job with the talent he has Dawkins out coached him. Clock management for UVA was key the entire Tournament and every team needs luck. Even Jay Wright could not shine the shite he had this year. Roy Williams is another clown.  UNC and Duke SHOULD make the final four every year. They are loaded with the best players from highschool. Virginia has figured out a way to even it out with D and players that stay for a couple years or more. Unselfish and smart. I hope Beard stays at TT and doesn't go to UCLA, he will lose they have a bunch of West Coast bozos or Kansas gotta love Jay Wright for staying even if it is going to be a rough few years. Carpet baggers like Pearl will look for the biggest payday or if Auburn, LSU, Arizona etc are  not punished .Pay these players and don't make them go to class. Stop with the horse and pony show and just do the right thing. Do any players graduate from Kentucky besides the white guy cheerleaders that never take off their warmups

They shouldnt even of worried about the guy goung to the hoop. U know he is going to kick it out. If not let him have the 2. Virg was gonna cover that spread one way or another. Yah i lost. Been on TT the whole tourney. Had a bad feel about this one. To much action on tech.
