Talk about two teams with big time reputations. Gonna be a heck of a game. One team plays a long and dragging 2-3 zone. The other thrives in transition, ball movement and diversity of inside and outside play.
Syracuse has played two cupcakes so far. Montana who was an embarrassment and Cal who is a soft PAC 12 team who lost to Utah in the conference tournament. Cuse had a nice run in the Big East but wins over Seton Hall, Pitt and Georgetown wasn't really impressive at all. Seton Hall is garbage, Pitt got trounced and Georgetown lost to the Dunk City. All that sticks in my head is that terrible second half they played against Louisville. Not to say that Indiana plays the same type of style, but it worries me that this team doesn't have enough.
Indiana comes in off an escape win against temple. Wyatt is a definite baller. And that is something the Cuse doesn't have. Fair is a mid range player, Williams is too young, Triche is okay and Southerland is a stand still shooter.
I expect Zellar to have a break out game in the middle of that zone. He played terribly last time out. With all the dissapointment from last game hindering bettors this line is screaming Syracuse, but Indiana should dominate this game as the well rounded team they are. They prove they are title condenders.
Indiana -5.5

Bottom line Big East was way over valued this year. They made a real poor appearance in the Dance.
So tired of hearing this drivel. Bro the BE has 3 teams in the Sweet 16, one of which is a favorite to win it all (Louisville). What about the ACC, the Big 12, SEC, etc? So based on your argument all those conferences suck because they don't have like 8 teams still alive?
Grow up.
