This game reminds me of last night's game: Alabama v. Maryland. Alabama a good defensive team that plays well at home. Maryland had been playing better of late like Iowa.
While it is hard to go against a team that is 20-0 at home, I like Iowa +4.5. I see a low scoring game where the points will be valuable. Marble has been playing the point for Iowa, and their offense has been running better. With Marble at point, Iowa is big. Iowa leads its conference and ranks 10th nationally with 39.3 rebounds per game and holds opponents to 38.8 percent shooting, another conference-best mark. The game should be close with Iowa having an outside chance of the upset.

You are right on with your analysis. If this game were not at Virginia, I would take Iowa straight up. But it's hard to go against a team that is unbeaten at home. I'm going with the under bet here. Seems a bit safer. Good luck and thanks for the insight.

I like Iowa a lot. Like Iowa though, Virginia does play some rather staggering defense on their end with that pack line style. These two teams match up fairly well. Freshman Justin Anderson is probably the most athletic out of anyone playing tonight, but other than him they match up equally. I think Iowa comes in with nothing to lose...and although they might not win straight up we saw Evansville, Maryland go into their opponents house to grind out a narrow victory. Plus, Iowa is used to those crazy environment since they played on the road in the Big Ten. Yes, 2-8 is their record, but Maryland's record was just as bad.

Iowa, thought the same thing about the similarities between this game and the MD/ALA game last night. The rebounding of Iowa will reduce the Cavs' number of possessions for a VA team that has struggled offensively the latter part of the season. Iowa shoots FT's better too and this could be critical in what should be a close game. They locked horns with IND, WIS/OHST/ and MICH on the road, far better teams than Virgina (yea I know VA beat Wisky, but that was a long time ago) and covered the number in 3 of them. Iowa has a legit' chance of winning and I made a small play there too @+175. GL

iowa hasn't beaten a good team on the road this year. they have been competitive but can't close the deal. I'm just not sure 4 is enough for me. UVA 20-0 at home and 14-3 ATS.
