about winning their tourney. So the only way to get these kids to wanna play is, the winning teams players are gonna have to be paid or just get rid of these games and go straight to the tournament. In the past the coach and players wanted to win these games, not so anymore.

These conference tournaments seem to get tougher to cap every year. Really bizarre how a team that sucks all year plays amazing on a neutral site in conference tournament. I lost my arse betting favorites . Guess I need to start just taking the dogs next year in conference tournaments

The difference is they had something to play for, an NCAA bid. UNC and Houston had absolutely nothing. Colorado is no lock in the NCAA so I was surprised they lost

Hmmm…not so sure. Did you see the kids reactions after Oregon and ncstate won? Saw multiple kids crying. It does mean something…..
I think he might be referring to the teams who were already locked in the tournament. Of course you want to win but the only Tourney that matters is the one for national title

Nah….. seemingly I think UNC was drinking the media koolaid. Iowa State is the only choice for the last 1 seed.
which means UNC likely will be 2 seed in East. They now have ZERO SHOT at going through UCONN to reach FF.
No chance that Heel team can beat UCONN.
Heels seem to only really care about beating Duke. Bacot and Davis have been there since Trump’s first term and literally have zero championships other than a regular season. Claim to fame is beating Duke in Coach K’s final game.

its all affected by gambling. there are people telling friends and family what to bet, influencing games. they care less about the game and more about the few hundred thousand they can help be made.

I would say UNC Houston Arizona, Purdue. should play for a top seed in the tourney. But who do you replace them with? Should Oregon now be a higher seed than Arizona? If Illinois wins, should they be higher than Purdue? Then the regular season would be more meaningless. Not sure what the answer is. Some teams might want to win the tourney, others, might want a little extra rest.....LIKE Kansas.

Cool and good watching NC St last night. I saw quite a bit of heartfelt, sincere joy and happiness. Esp their star PG being interviewed afterward. That dude was obviously moved, tremendously, by the situation. Kudos to him...and them.
