I don&#x27;t think Syracuse can win exclusively playing the 2-3 zone tonight, because Indiana will get the ball to Zeller in the middle, the defense will collapse, and Jordan Hulls will have wide open three points shots, and if there is one person you don&#x27;t want to give open looks to, it&#x27;s Jordan Hulls..  Boeheim can adjust by going to a matchup zone or even some man to man..It will be interesting to see his willingness to adjust his style of play, but we shall see..

Rakeem Christmas is the key.  He can be an airhead and miss his assignments.  If he doesn&#x27;t and Indiana doesn&#x27;t go 50% from 3 then Cuse got this.

4 of 5 starters for IU can knock down 3&#39;s, I think this will be a huge factor. If zeller turtles inside like he has in past games where teams bully him, that allows Cuse to cover shooters better. Also can IU get their transition game going and beat the zone down the floor?Very interesting matchup!

Boeheim has switched to m2m like twice in 35 yearsWon&#x27;t happen so dont hold your breathThe keys will be triche and Southerland. If those two guys are hitting they have a chance. Xmas will get in foul trouble like he always does so Keita (who has been playin well) wil have to step up and don&#x27;t be surprised to see Coleman get mins (he started most of the year at center before a knee injury a few months ago) and come in to rough up zeller

Syracuse won&#x27;t play man or a match-up zone.  It&#x27;s the 2-3 all night.  It&#x27;s only a case of when he decides to extend it.  If Syracuse can hit outside shots, they&#x27;ll win.

ABSOLUTELY NO chance JB goes man or match-up zone

The adjustments will come in the form of leaving guys alone (no bump ups in zone) if JB feels that the guy cant make the shot. If CZ catches it in the High Post, I bet they lay off him and make him make the FT jumper. SU has been very active in their zone LATELY, moving on the pass and not the catch. This energy MUST be present. Also, SU will extend that zone on shooters - which obviously will open up the high post. IU can shoot 3's but SU needs them to be "contested" threes.

It is ironic that IU is a team that thrives on transition hoops. That is exactly how SU has had success in the past. Not so much this year, mainly because SU needs their guards to hit the defensive glass. In years past, SU guards have not had to bump down to rebound, thus they have been in a better position to start the break. Without MCW and BT rebounding, SU would be in major trouble.

SU needs to create turnovers and run. Hope it's a fun game. Good Luck to all!
