Michigan State 12:00

My thoughts on the Michigan State/Oregon game.

Oregon has been on fire down the stretch, which is why the line is showing them some respect. But this Michigan State team is built differently. The Ducks are going to struggle to find their offensive rhythm, and I don’t see them having what it takes to slow down a team like this. On top of that, they’re likely to get outworked on the boards.

Michigan State has established itself as the team to beat in the Big Ten. The Spartans dominate the glass and move the ball extremely well, racking up assists and creating high-quality looks. That’s the kind of team that’s tough to beat in a tournament setting—both today and heading into March Madness. They already handled Oregon by 12 earlier this season, and I expect more of the same at noon ET.

I was leaning the other way in this one.  Oregon really dominated MSU in the 1st half of their game at the Breslin, and then MSU shifted into another gear in the 2nd half.  I think Oregon is hot right now and potentially more motivated to avenge the previous loss.  Izzo has also had a tendency in the past to not put a lot of weight into the conference tourney, I actually think Oregon has a shot at winning SU.  Good luck!

you clearly didn’t watch the first game and just went off the box score if you thought MSU handled Oregon. This game was a game of runs

 Game was a tail of 2 halfs Oregon lead 50-36 at half MSU out scores them 50-24 second half i had MSU and gave up on them after the first half and went straight to the bar.

Great points on Oregon. I’m still favoring Michigan St, they are built for tournament play.

What happens in the second half? Lots of comments about Oregon FH domination. Can Oregon respond? Will they be out coached again in the 2nd half?

Nice call!  If MSU shoots halfway decent from 3, they're on the short list of teams that can win it all.  I dudnt see them running through Oregon today as easily as they did, but Izzo has em locked and loaded
