Mississippi St / Auburn (Local thoughts/info)

Question

Why would Vegas put a team just above .500 on the road against a team at home with a very strong record?

No doubt the public will likely take a home dog in Mississippi State. As a State fan, I don't like this game one bit. Auburn, in it's past two loses has drastically improved and shot around 50% from the 3 point stripe during those games. I honestly saw the Bulldogs losing this past weekend to Texas A&M but Gavin Ware, the Bulldogs big man played the best game of the year and won the game, in my opinion, through his hard work on the boards.

Tonight, I see this Auburn team coming out on top. (4-6 point win range)

As a Dawg fan, I hate to say it but Auburn -1.5 is a good play. Buy the hook if you can for security.

&#xD;&#xA;Before the line came out I thought State would be a 1 or 2 point favorite because they&#x27;re pretty even in my opinion. State played a pretty soft schedule so they look better than what they are, that&#x27;s just my opinion. I think you&#x27;re right about betting on Auburn and I hate to say that. I think State is getting better and they have some really good players like Sword and Ware but I think they&#x27;ll come up short tonight. Rick Ray will get&#x27;em there eventually

Well, based on what I&#x27;ve seen out of State this season, they&#x27;re at least good enough to beat the middling-to-bad SEC teams at home."Middling-to-bad SEC team" describes Auburn pretty well.

hold up lol. in all honesty miss state should have lost that game. an ill advised turnover at the end of the game cost them the entire game. had that guy just held on to the ball and hit the outlet theywould have killed clock and gotten to the line. Lets not get gased. Auburn wins tonight. Miss. state is a lot of smoke and mirrors.
