I think monroe is legit one of the crappier d1 teams, they really dont have much upside on the roster and its a losing culture under this coach. Sela has the look of a decent enough athletic team that could be a bit underranked by the computers. Sam Hines looks like a solid vet leader for this team. I think you can see the difference in quality in the way the games went against similar competition. Monroe got manhandled right from the start against LSU and Tulane (score was 60-29 against tulane before they made it more respectable). They hung with rice a bit longer but still fell down by 20. SeLa kept it tight into the 2nd half against both miss st and uab before it got away.

and just felt worth noting, the non d1 team la monroe just beat 110-48 , ecclessia, appears to be the worst team ever. theyve been getting demolished by similar scores against other d3 teams. Monroe going to have adjust coming off that to facing an actual athletic d1 team, hopefully gets them to come out a little crappier out the gate.
