Still off to a bit of a slow start, but since I'm primarily a dog bettor, and favorites are covering at a 59% clip right now, that's to be expected. Everything will get evened out fairly soon.
Wisconsin +6.5
Hoping to get a writeup done on this game later.
Good luck to all.

Florida is already shorthanded without PG Scottie Wilbekin and F Casey Prather. Now, they might also be without F Erik Murphy tonight. While Murphy is a quality face-up four-man for the Gators, his loss on the defensive end is what makes the Badgers a quality bet tonight. It forces Patric Young to guard on the perimeter against Wisconsin's perimeter oriented bigs. And while Young is a freak athlete, he's not a great defender, especially when he's forced away from the basket. The Badgers have a slew of big men who will step away from the paint and can stroke it from deep in Mike Brusewitz, Jared Berggren and Frank Kaminsky, which presents problems for the Gators defensively.
Additionally for the Badgers on the offensive end, that trio of big men drawing Young away from the paint will open up the lane for new point guard George Marshall. Marshall is a slasher, and with an non-congested lane, look for him to get to the free-throw line tonight.
Finally, we know that Wisconsin plays at one of the slowest paces in the country. Without Wilbekin, I think Florida will be content to play right along with them in a half-court game, which makes two full possessions in this game fairly valuable. I think the Badgers have a great chance to go into Gainesville and knock off the Gators tonight.

That even remotely true, as he played in their opening win over Southeastern Louisiana and scored 10 points in 13 minutes. 3-3 from the floor (2-2 3P) and 2-2 from the line.
