Indie, why so many picks? Be more calculated!

I've seen better records. He splits an awful lot. Thinking he could up his winnings being more picky.

56% ain't bad.

At -110 each play, up approximately 81 units. I don't know how you do it Indie, but that is incredible.

After further thought, 56% with that amount of plays is solid! Just think he could be producing 60%+ with less picks. JMHO.

My point is - I'm not ignorant or stupid relating to this business. I don't troll, just asking him a simple, peaceful question. When did you become Indie's body guard? If he wants to answer the question, let him. Quit being a jagov!

Just so Houston knows, I wasn't trolling, or trying to cause trouble. Simple question. I mistakenly melted a few snowflakes in the process. Not sure where they'll find their safe space. It sure ain't here!

I understand what you are saying - it's one of the more common "traditional" thoughts on betting. However, if you have followed Indie - and others like him over the years - you would see that the large number of picks (yes, despite the juice on losses) is actually beneficial to spreading the risk in a system that is based on betting broadly across the board.
In the financial investment world, you see this in Mutual Fund and Bond investing. You know that some are going to be stinkers...you just try to have a selection criteria that gives you an overall profit with a "basket" of stocks and/or bonds. Those that have tried to "select" the winners (i.e. making fewer "bets") find themselves subject to huge swings in portfolios that can damage their "bankroll".
This is Indie's style - and it is remarkably profitable. You may want to look for "Lower volume" cappers - which you can find in CoversCapReport's excellent threads.
To put it another way...if you want a running QB - don't pick Brady or Ryan for your team!
