Uh well for starters he&#x27;s a freshman.But what I do know is that an over hyped freshman does not shoot 57% from the field and grab 9 boards on averageStill needs time to develop but will only get better

Thanks Vandal. I haven&#x27;t watched him play at all until tonight. I had heard his name mentioned quite a bit. Just curious to know if he has been playing to expectations.

k train       not sure if you are a cat fan      but i just came back from a high scholl game here in my home town   of new jersey       seems   coach cal  will be  getting a kid from st joes metuchen             committed   7 foot real deal       remember the name karl townes      seems from what i saw tonight    he has it all    kid played  for  domin  repub    olympic team       past summer

kid averages 10.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.7 blocks, &amp; 2.7 steals.oh yea, hes 7 feet tall.

Seen plenty of video on Townes and for his size he seems to have all the skills. However plays a little soft especially considering his size and skill advantage over most of the people he plays against. Will certainly need to get alot tougher but great pick up for UK.

Regarding Nerlens Noel, I always laugh when I hear this guys name. This guy was never as good coming in as people wanted to believe. It was both lazy and irresponsible for those who even tried to compare him to Davis. About the only thing similar is they can block shots but Noel's offensive game is brutal. Mostly dunks and put backs. No offensive moves what so ever.

The sad part is I believe this kid is still going to come out after this year and regret it. He needs to stay a year and await the arrival of the Harrison Twins and become a much more well rounded player while playing for a title.

Not a Cats fan at all. That&#x27;s why I am curious about Noel. I have heard a lot about him but had not watched him play until tonight. He had a slow first half but a productive second half. That was why I asked the question to see if anyone else had watched him play.
