1-0 Sunday, 5-0 in last 3 days ... And now, we do some serious dumpster diving ...

New Orleans -1: On Saturday, we rolled with an Air Force team on a 16-game losing streak. Now we take the NO Privateers, who have lost 10 straight. Moreover, a NO team that is the only team of 364 not to have won a single home game this season. But here, they have one last chance to get that elusive home win and end the losing skid in the process. Standing in our way is the equally inept East Texas A & M Lions, who have lost 6 straight. In Southland play, NO is 2-15 and ETAM 1-16. With 3 games left in their respective seasons, both teams have long since been eliminated from qualifying for the Southland conference tournament. The teams met Jan 18 in East Texas, with New Orleans winning by 9. New Orleans is the better offensive team and in a game really doesn't mean much, I think they find a way in their final home game of 2024-25 to get it done for their long-suffering fans. 1.75 units.

Austin Peay +8.5: Taking a shot with the home dog here. The "Vault" will be rocking as the Governors take on Lipscomb on Seniors Night in a game that will be televised nationally on ESPN-U. Peay (8-8 in league) has been wildly inconsistent this season, but have battled the top teams in the A-Sun tough, beating Eastern Kentucky, losing in OT to North Alabama and just winning on the road at Queen's NC on Saturday. In non-conference play, they won at Butler and beat Chattanooga at home. Things obviously didn't go well in a 28-point loss at Lipscomb 5 weeks ago, but I think that will only serve to motivate them even more on Monday night. Now, Lipscomb is tied for first with North Alabama and obviously really want to win this game, especially since the conference tournament is played at the higher-seeded campus sites. Think Peay really pushes them hard in this spot and this game is decided by a bucket or 2. Not really interested in playing the ML here, but it might be worth a shot for those who like to dabble in that sort of thing. 1.25 unit play.

My pleasure brother ... I've won on several of your picks so I think I still owe you a few more! I was really fighting it bad earlier in the season and did a whole lot of tailing. So many excellent cappers on here, it's an incredible resource and lots of fun to banter back and forth with everyone.

I was looking through Monday's game and read through the records of N.O. and  East Texas A & M. I don't think

it will be standing room only for the game. I can't believe that N.O. hasn't won a game at home this year.

Another game who's line seems a little strange is MS Valley St @Prairie View. MS Valley is 3-24 and 

Prairie View 4-23. MS Valley  1-9 in last 10 and Prairie View 0-10 in last 10 yet Prairie  View is favored 

by 17 1/2.  Books should have a wager on which game draws the biggest attendance.  I think you're on

the right side with N.O. . Best of luck

 Cheers good sir! I know that Prairie View line looks high, but I think Vegas is having a challenging time lining these MVSU games because they get clobbered regularly by 35-45 points on the road, even against these other mediocre SWAC teams. So I think they're trying to draw some money on the dog here. Prairie View really needs this game though. They are just 1 game up on Pine Bluff for the last berth to the conference tournament with 4 games left. So I think MVSU - for as bad as they are - will get PV's full attention. Maybe a first-half play at -9 or -9.5 makes more sense? MVSU is just so bad, their season is over in 4 more games. With a gun to my head I would rather lay the points than take the dog here... for what that's worth!
