Money to be made in the NIT as well..........you have to wager carefully though.
Teams like Miss St. aren't going to be enthused about being there after the way they played today so I don't expect them to do much, can't wait to see who they play in the first round.
Meanwhile, teams like my Tigers are looking forward to playing, keeping the season going, and preparing for next year. Sure it would have been nice to make the tourney, but you have to look at all they've gone through since last march. Look at UCLA, Carolina, UCONN........none of those teams had a shot in the last month to even sniff the NCAA tourney with the exception of winning their conference tourney....while Memphis would have probably made it had they just made the championship game. And the other three storied programs didn't lose their coach and top recruiting class on a midnight plane out of town, and even more we are talking about a first year coach here. So all in all it was a good season and will continue to the big apple I hope.
Other teams I look forward to seeing matchups and hope to get good lines on, William and Mary, UAB, Akron, Dayton and Rhode Island. I think they will all be glad to still be playing even if it's not the big dance.
Other teams like Miss St. that we have to be careful with are teams like Illini, Va Tech, and Ole Miss...........wager carefully on them

Thanks ICAP.....and Professional1, that is something we will have to scout out, share info, and hopefully have a strong angle before gametime. I will be reading every press clipping coming out of Champaign, Blacksburg, Oxford, etc....local papers and quotes from coaches and players can often times tell you a lot about a teams state of mind.
In the NCAA tourney, you know everyone is elated to be there so it's simply matchups and which side of the line you want to be on. But usually after the first, and clearly after the second round NIT games you know who wants to be playing and from then on its simply matchups and lines as well. But the first and second round NIT is where we have to be careful.........but money to be made there!!!!
