I'm not going to bore you with a long write-up going over all the trends, stats, analytics and ATS records... A lot of those things you can look up yourself... But what I will briefly talk about is the importance of Paul Scruggs who's the starting point guard for Xavier...
He will not play tonight, he has a torn ACL, his leadership, his cerebral knowledge of how to run the offense can't be overstated... I truly believe the oddsmakers haven't priced his absence especially in a game of this magnitude properly.
Xavier will play hard, they'll play for him, they'll play for each other but in the end I believe Vanderbilt will do just enough to get the job done...
