North Carolina...Their lineup has 5 NBA ready players in it don't they, maybe more?
Hansborough
Lawson
Ellington
Green
Frasor
Along with Ginyard(Although hurt I believe), and Thompson. 8 Seniors in total? How can ANYBODY compete with them? Duke will be a really good team this season, but in all seriousness, how can anybody beat the Tar Heels?

They could even be worth a shot at 5/6. There is no value anywhere else because UNC is gonna win it all. And this is coming from a guy who roots for Duke every season.

ya i feel u im goin throw on the heels to win and at 15 to 1 i gota take uconn.. aj price, jerome dyson, stanley robinson, jeff adrien, and hasheem thabeet, craig austrie and freshman kemba walker i got like uconn at those odds.

Thabeet alone makes me like UCONN. He is just a monster down low and if the opposing team can't shoot the 3, they will have obvious problems. And they always find themselves there around the end anyway. I wonder where Memphis will land with Dozier, Kemp, and Evans. I wonder if they worked on their free throws this offseason. And looking at their roster, I see that they don't have a pure Center. I wonder how bad that will hurt them. Another thing to think about is the often fade of Kansas St. after losing Beasley and Walker. They have NOBODY.

Well I know that Fields and Blair can take the Panthers far, but not farther than the Elite 8 imo. As for UCLA. They can be a National Champion contender this season. Shipp and Collison are who they are, but many players have to step up as they lost 3/5 of their talent with Love, Mbah a Moute(looked it up because I couldn't spell his name free hand if I tried 100 times) and Westbrook which makes their chances actually slimmer than they are giving them credit for. Maybe their not a National Championship team with those guys out. Doesn't matter though, I still think UNC is going to beat whoever they face. But don't forget... the Bruins are going to have to face USC with their little rapper Lil Romeo playing for them now. That should be a good one. But in all honesty, I think the Tar Heels' toughest opponent here would be Duke, as they know how to play them and with Singler having a year under his belt, he can be a HUGE factor this season for Duke. And with Paulus in year 2 of having to lead this team and take over what Reddick and McRoberts had to do in years past and ending his final year at Duke, he's gonna want to make the best of it. Along with Scheyer, Henderson, and Zoubek in that starting lineup, that is a very fierce team. Last season they shot lights out from 3 point land and losing only DeMarcus Nelson from last season, albeit he being one of their best players, and I think they can contend with the best of them. And we all saw what Henderson did to Phsyco T last season with his bloody nose, so we know he's not scared of anything.
Oboy, I can't wait for the season to start.

patrick patterson kills hansborough . love it. louisville and uconn best value in my opinion. lawson would also have trouble against a physical pg. i could see a tough physical team beating them (mich st, pitt, purdue). but saying that unc is pretty awesome this year could go undefeated. i'd look at the odds of that has to be decent odds.

These are some good teams but there are some others teams with bigger odds that can make runs. Wake is play that would be solid if the young talent provides great depth off the bench. Just one of those teams that could shake everything up for everybody.
