I stopped posting for a while but returned about a month ago to see the play lose and so here I am again, full disclosure, trying to help the forum out. I'm going to to return to what I know and that is Maryland, though I thought they would win against Illinois on Wednesday, I am quite sure they will avenge that loss today.
While Purdue is having a nice season, playing well at home, they have not faced a team as active as Maryland in my opinion. In fact, I think a lot of Big Ten teams will have problems with the style Maryland plays as they are just not used to this.
So one might ask, well, if such is the case, what happened in Illinois. To this the response is simple; Jake Layman. While Dez Wells is the best player on the Terrapins and Melo Trimble is amongst the best freshmen in the country, it's Jake Layman who is really the engine for this team. And after being pegged with 2 fouls within the first 2 minutes of the game, he was made to sit out the rest of the half. Though Maryland did in fact lead at the half, had Layman been involved, I believe their lead would have been considerably larger and the second half would have taken a different tune coming out of the tunnel.
Again, this play has more to do with Maryland than Purdue. The line is close enough to just select the outright winner and Maryland is 43-20-1 in their last 64 games following a loss. That's a good enough sample size for me to lay my eggs will be in the basket of the #11 team in the country bouncing back.
MARYLAND +1 1/2
As always, good luck to all....

Thanks everyone. Had I also posted Canisius and Texas A&M it would have made for a really great day. I will try to post here and there if possible and today I really like Fairfield as they have played Siena tough in the past and I think they are getting way too many points. I see them winning for most of the game though I'm not confident enough to pull the string on the money line.

I absolutely LOVE Indianapolis. Just way too many points and they seemingly cover every time Peyton goes up against his former team. Plus Manning has the MOST playoff LOSSES in history so that's always a side you want to avoid. I'm not sure they can pull off the shock upset but anytime you have Luck and Hilton on your side, you are never out of the game.
