So this just happened less than an hour ago:
My guy sends me my money via USPS and I was expecting it today. I get a knock on the door and there about 5 cops and a USPS worker at my door way. They said their dog smelt drugs in my package and need to open it. They ask my several questions, and i told them there's no drugs in there. i never touch drugs in my life. they opened it, found money, asked me what it was for and i told them the truth. They searched my house and took my money away.
1. Is there anyway i can get that money back?? around 3k
2. Can they legally open that package with out a warrant? i searched online and i found some threads that say they suppose to have a warrant.
Thanks guys..to make it worse..i'm already on a bad run this week..and this just made it worse. horrible day to start the tourney..

um yes officers I needed a loan to pay late bills.. is the correct answer if its not drugs then whats the problem??
