The last 5 tournament appearances Houston has gone to the sweet 16 three times, elite 8 twice, and final 4 once. Injuries hurt this team in the post season last year. All-American Shead got hurt last year in the Duke game in the sweet 16. They had the lead until he got hurt. They lost by 3 points in the final 8. The game was also in the Carolina's. Yet, Houston was the one seed? Playing essentially a road game?
NCAA hates Sampson. They screw him every year. Why else did Houston as a number one seed play Purdue in Indianapolis in the round of 16? Tennessee will also have the crowd today. He has a history with lawsuits and suspensions with the NCAA and they will do whatever they can to keep him from winning any championship.
