I see a lot of people on McNeese, and rightfully so. They played out of their minds against Clemson. Very athletic team. A lot of talent.
With that being said, playing devil’s advocate. Clemson had an awful performance. And give a lot of credit to McNeese for that. However, Clemson had a LOT of open shots, and they just weren’t falling. Clemson shot 36% from the field. 9/30 from 3. (Most of which came in second half desperation to overcome a 20 point deficit) Turned the ball over 13 times that almost all led to a McNeese score.
Mcneese is also not a great free throw shooting team. Going 11/22 against Clemson. I get all the hype with the tournament, and an underdog 12/5 matchup etc. My point, and just for discussion’s sake, with Clemson playing horrible, McNeese amped, and playing pretty amazing overall. After all that they won by 2. Seeing what everyone sees, if they repeat the same type performance, will that get it done if Purdue plays even half better than Clemson did.

having said that, this purdue team has been slightly off all year. underperformed in B10 play. almost like a hangover from last years Edey-tourney run. . .
good luck, saving grace for the hammer and rail boys is the >80% forum rule (on mcneese). . .

More than fair, and you’re right about Purdue being off all season. The post Edey era. For me, I’ll roll the dice on a small bet with Purdue and the 12/5 hype/cinderella to stop here.
Thanks for the input, and reply.
best of luck to you today!

I’ve won a lot this season with St. John’s, as I’m sure a lot of people have lol. They are the better team here, as I think nobody would really refute. I’m from Kentucky. I know these two coaches go way back, a lot of history there I don’t need to really get into. But, they have very similar styles, and have competed for years. When Pitino was at Louisville, and Cal at UK. IMO. St John’s gets the win, but I think Cal will have his team ready to compete and keep it close knowing Pitino so well.

(no play, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Ark win the first half)
