it's a case where Purdue drives the ball a lot and feeds the paint. Sending the big guy to the FT line is better than just letting him dunk. So lots of FTs make sense.

Espn2 Purdue players had a huge margin of error to play within the number of 14. It’s called pt shaving. Yes they can control that. How many times were they up by more than 14? None it was in jeopardy. Refs had Purdue and we’re trying to assist them in covering. If you don’t believe these low paid refs fix games then you’re wrong. They probably saw the revenge factor plus their exceptional home dominance this year they would only need a minimal amount of help in covering and they had to go all in to try and get the cover. Don’t be naive!
