wow, putting your money at risk by tying them together huh? $100 dollars on straight bets would be a GREAT day for a Normal bettor. $$$$$. RIP is what it really should be. Sportsbooks love parlays for the reason that the bettors puts their money at a higher risk. Sure a parlay hits here or there, but the book rakes in more than they pay out. It only takes One loss to lose in a parlay where as you are Raking in $ on a one loss day.
You don't make anymore money on parlays that you would if you would straight bet and "parlay" your money risked plus the money one onto another bet until you've strung together a streak of wins. Then the question is when to stop pushing your luck.
Absolutely NO BIGGER PAYOUTS ON PARLAYS and yet people put together big parlays all in the same day. If you enjoy parlaying, try picking ONLY your BEST PLAYS for the day (1-3) and parlay them. Then, when you find a REALLY good game a few days later, take what you risked & won and parlay it onto that game until youve strung together a STREAK that you are comfortable keeping,...then rinse and repeat from the beginning.
ALL that im saying is that it's hard to pick 7 to 12 teams that'll win ALL in ONE DAY. Pick ONLY YOUR BEST PLAYS OF THE DAY and push it to another day where you find other good plays.
Technically you would be picking Really Good Bets out of a pot of more than ONE DAY.
AND if you are doing TEASERS for points...you are really HURTING your odds. The book charges HEAVY on higher points. PLUS, if you check with a calculator, if you did a parlay of favorites giving from 7-15 points, try checking the odds of just parlaying their MLs vs a Teaser. Odds on MLs AND teasers can be DRAMATICALLY off one way or the other depending on your book.
Best of Luck Guys! RIP!

Middle Tennessee St. would blow Oakland away. Oakland has one of the WORST DEFENSES in all of Division I college basketball. Oaky might have a good offense but have the 340th WORST defensive Effective FG% out if what...345 D1 teams?!?! Oaky Doesn't hold a candle to the tops of their Conference. However middle tennessee state is the top of the conference.
Best of Luck. RIP Oakland.

And why isn't Oakland's DEFENSE the suspect of the loss here? Their WHOLE DEFENSIVE UNIT gave up 12 points in 2.5 minutes on 6 possessions allowing them to score on 100% of those 3 possessions. Should've been 14 points but they missed their last 2 FTs. Oakland has the 340th-ranked Defensive Effective Field Goal % in ALL OF DIVISION I college basketball (345 teams total?). They allow opponents to shoot 40% from behind the arc and 53.3% on 2-pt shots! On the other hand you have Southern Utah who in point distribution, is the #1-ranked team that gets their points from 2-pointers in which they hit 51% of them, ranking them 54th IN THE NATION in 2P %!
