Nevada -5 vs. wash (betonline)
Capp ... buddy .... thank you, thank you for the Pacific pick brother!! Was leaking oil on the day but said WTF and played 3 units on Pacific, you convinced me about the Canadian coach, and also knowing San Jose St has sucked for like, forever. Anyway, pretty happy this evening to say the least, appreciate it man

yea coach smart is super intriguing. I dont think hawaii has one of their stronger teams this year so prob give him a try that game monday as well. san jose st-hawaii sunday will be interesting to see how similarly crappy both may be

I come ready for the openers, always have. But I'm seeing -6 at BO currently. This line actually went to -4.5 right after I bet it and stayed there awhile, think came out DK -4.5/-5 as well. Actually happy this line hasnt moved an extreme amt as the couple times I was on favorable side of an extreme line move this year so far (4-5+ points), neither ended up close to covering

It looks like a tough game for a brand new washington team, 2nd game playing together, on the road against a solid team. THe coach sprinkle/grant osobor combo exceeded expectations last year at usu and def might again, just would surprise me if it starts in this spot. Wash was only 2-14 from 3 in their first game, so don't really see them lighting it up against nevada's D. Also, nevada and big man davidson actually kinda kicked sprinkle/osobor's ass last season, with osobor held to 11 pts.

for winthrop game- winthrop has a very similar team to last year, and should be well ahead of little rock with team chemistry and all that crap. Should also get the debut of big man Duncomb today, former high rated guy from xavier, which could be interesting and noteworthy (unknown what kind of impact but could be something). Ark LR has brand new team and lost their best returner and ovc POY type guy KK Robinson in october for the season. So they will have to adjust to that and now play first D1 game as a team against an above average team on the road. Feels like a pullaway should occur

In the blowout L at smu, freddy hicks who I assume will avg 20ish ppg this yr for tarleton didnt play, neither did multiple other guys on the roster that I figure will be key guys (Grimes who was orig a legit juco guy who Baylor thought enough of to sign), also couple wildcard types: D2 grad transfer Silvera , and french import Sigiscar (these intl dudes always a wildcard nowadays). There's such little info/coverage for this team, the only thing I found is on Billy Gillespie's radio show, it was on monday and he said he anticipated having the same exact group at practice this week, did not sound like any returns were imminent. So that's what I'm going with. Tarleton has always been scrappy and tough at home recent years, but I'm thinking this group doesnt have the horses to beat an above average team like Sam Houston right now.
In the event this is a farce and Freddy Hicks is out there dropping 25, certainly still possible what should be the better team this season still gets the dub. Worth noting Sam Houston was missing a starter in Damon Nicholas in the opener, not sure his status either, but they were solid enough to hang with nevada for most of the game in the opener anyway and still have the healthier better team. The guy who started in his place Finister had a good game.
