LSU -10.5 teased down to -2.5 over South Carolina
At 13-3, LSU knows they should be ranked and this team
has a chip on their shoulder right now.
They are a perfect 9-0 at home and are coming off of “back to back” road
wins at Arkansas by 6 and at #20 ranked Ole Miss Rebels by 14. If LSU wins this game they should find
themselves easily ranked in the Top 20 next week and at -2.5 points all we are asking them to
do is win the game. South Carolina will
be playing their 2nd road game in 3 days while the LSU Tigers return
home and have had an extra day to rest and prepare for this important game since
both teams are undefeated in conference play.
Bowling Green (12-5) has won 8 straight games and they are a
perfect 9-0 at home. On the other hand,
W. Mich (6-11) is 0-4 in conference play and a paltry 2-6 on the road. In the past 2 weeks, both of these teams have
played on the road at Kent. W. Michigan
lost by 15 (73-88) and B. Green won by 22
(86-64). If that game is any indication of
the strength of these two teams B. Green -1/2 point should be golden. Add in the fact that W. Michigan is only 3-8
ATS in their last 11 conference games.
VCU (12-5) has won 6 of the 8 meetings between these two
teams including all 5 home games by an average of 13 points.
VCU is almost undefeated at home this year at 9-1 and U. Mass is only
1-3 on the road. VCU is the far superior
team with a win on the road at Texas and they played #1 ranked Virginia better
than any other team has this year except Maryland losing by only 8 points (49-57).
While U. Mass has lost 5 straight, the
games have been close so I don’t think this game gets ugly, but I feel confident
that VCU will get the win and cover -2.
