This SDSU team is my darkhorse of the 2012-2013 NCAAB season. In 2011 it was Cleveland St, In 2012 it was Detroit, and this year I'm going a little less shocking with SDSU.
SDSU is absolutely LOADED! Transfers, returning senoirs, and youth make this team Fisher's best team yet. Meanwhile, Syracuse comes in with a highly touted recruiting class but as we have seen early those players need to get acclimated to the NCAAB landscape. Michigan St, Kentucky, and FSU all proved how top recruiting classes dont necessarily translate to wins on opening day.
SDSU is the best team WEST of the Mississippi...Yes I said it, and no I'm not a fan just a realist. SDSU has a blue collar approach with A- recruits. As always the case Syracuse really lacks intensity and passion playing that 2-3 zone. SDSU is a grind it out, hard nose team that will get after it on the defensive end and they have the athletes and size to challenge the Syracuse zone.
