Since 2004 here is a breakdown of how each seed has done ATS in their opening rounds. Those good capper's should already know this, but for others this might .
 
1 vs 16   10-9-1          2008    3-1
2 vs 15     9-11           2008    2-2
3 vs 14    12-8            2008    4-0
4 vs 13    11-9            2008    2-2
5 vs 12    12-8            2008    2-2
6 vs 11    13-7            2008    3-1

It's how the favorite did against the spread...

1 vs 16 has

10 wins  9 losses with 1 push

When you say favorite do you mean the higher seed or the team that is actually favored since sometimes the lower seeded team like USC is favored

It's always the favorite no matter who is the highest seed. Lower seeds normally are not favorited until you get down to around 7-10 & 8-9.

In last 5 years more #9's have covered than 8's and more #12's have covered than 5's.

Got to love these 7 vs 10 match-up's today. Since 2003 the 7's
or 17-7 ATS on the 10's. I`m riding that WAVE!!!!
