Hard to believe that we're less than three weeks until the start of March Madness and it's amazing how quickly time flies. While a number of teams have recently played themselves in (or out) of the tournament, there is still a lot to be desired before Championship week begins.
It's been well documented that the big boys have been playing hot potato for the #1 ranking all year, but since only 6 or 7 teams have a realistic shot at the four top seeds in the tournament, expect the Conference Tournaments to decide who goes where.
So what does that mean for the next two weekends? Lots of bubble teams fighting for their lives and ranked teams doing whatever they can to pass the time and stay healthy. So in other words there's money to be made...
Keep that in mind when you're making your plays for College Hoops on Saturday. Here are three bets that I really like...
Notre Dame (+12 at Sports Interaction) vs. UConn - The Jim Calhoun sideshow this week will be a distraction
Oklahoma State -1.5 over Texas - Expect a letdown from AJ Abrams
Florida State +1.5 vs. Clemson - FSU should bounce back after a tough loss at BC
And for good measure...
Duke - 5 @ Virginia Tech - Is it time to bring back the "Gerald Henderson for Player of the Year" thread?
