Yup they have been point shaving all year, so nobody was able to know how good they were. Even the oddsmakers are having trouble trying to figure out what spreads to put out on them.
Another team that suddenly decided to play is virg
Players are afraid of getting busted

Exactly its like why try in conf play when they could make sum money when they know winning the conf tourney is the only thing that matters

Tomorrow is a point shaving extravaganza. FAU vs Temple.
I’m praying Temple wins the automatic bid. Will be a PR nightmare for NCAA. That entire conference is corrupt as fuck.

With NIL you thought it would eliminate a lot of this bullshit. But pretty damn clear this team has been mafia owned all year. Charlotte is a really good team too, and they properly disposed of them with little resistance all game. I’d venture over 50% of their games this year were influenced.

I think it was just temple players making cash, cause none are going to the NBA

Numerous lay downs in conf tourneys so conferences receive more bids.
And their is not enough justice in the world that these scumbags from temple keep advancing

Florida ATL players had a chance to enter portal to get huge NIL deals but chose to stick together. They compensated themselves financially by pt shaving all season.

@jpitty
There is no chance Temple wins tomorrow, after losing by 30 against UAB at home, forget it! The NCAA won't allow it, every call will go UAB's way. You can't even bet the game in NY they have been taken off the board pending further investigation.

@cnybillsfan
I sorta agree, but I played Temple ML today and posted the pick in the forum.
I’m going to put a little on it tomorrow for fun. I do agree that Temple cannot win tomorrow.
This is now threatening to steal a bid and to me that is sickening. Many will say they earned it, but you simply can’t have a team involved in the tournament that is under suspicion of fixing games.

This miracle run has been an absolute nightmare for the NCAA. Are they finally playing to their potential?? This is nuts. Loyola Maryland also being investigated for point shaving but they lost and season over.
You wonder what was said behind closed doors after that questionable UAB game. Temple is located in a really rough area of Philly. Didn't surprise me that a player or two would accept $25K to throw a game and make a better life for himself. I hope they win tomorrow!
