I like the direction that New Head Coach Rob Ehsan has this team headed... Illinois Chicago is playing with a lot more intensity, focus and attention to detail for the complete full 40 minutes this season. They are really exceeding market expectations this season.
Illinois Chicago is 11-6 SU and 13-4 Ats in lined games this season. 10-0 Ats last 10 games. 6-3 SU and 8-1 Ats in conference play. 3-1 Ats at home in conference play.
Southern Illinois is 3-6 SU and 4-5 Ats in conference play this season. 1-3 SU and 2-2 Ats on the road in conference play this season. 7-11 Ats overall this season.
My only concerns are:
1. Southern Illinois is 3-2 SU and 4-1 Ats last 5 games. It looks like Head Coach Scott Nagy is starting to get his team headed in the right direction.
2. Illinois Chicago plays Bradley next. Bradley is first place in the conference right now and Illinois Chicago just recently lost a very competitive match at home by 1 point to Bradley.
This could be a look ahead spot for Illinois Chicago but I believe Rob Ehsan will have his team focused and ready to play at a high level today.
