Southern miss is not the same team as last year. But they were 15-0 on their home court last year. They are 3-1 this year. And coveted and dynamic transfer guard andre curbelo has finally gotten healthy and made his golden eagles debut. Him and Crowley form a blue chip backcourt that could be best in the sun belt. Georgia state on the road has beaten that miserable western Michigan team and a OT win against little rock and 5 blowout losses. I think curbelo and the crazy energy he brings to the court along with the sun belt home opener will be enough for southern miss to leave their homecourt Thursday night with a win and cover.
