I just locked in a bet on St Marys to win the NCAA Tourney at 600/1 odds
Bet $110 to win $66,000
I'm not going to tell lie and tell you that I think St Mary's actually wins the tourney, but in my opinion you won't find a team with better value who legitimately could make the Sweet 16...this is a veteran team who has been continually improving over the course of the season.
The plethora of hedging opportunities that this bet presents will be incredible...

Capodecina nice job stating the obvious about Florida gulf coast...anybody who has followed ncaa this year knows they are a tough squad who also beat Miami (potential 1 or 2 seed) earlier this year...But in terms of Liberty you have lost your mind...they just increased their total season wins by almost 50% in the span of a week...
I locked this bet in a month ago...St Mary's is now anywhere from 100 to 200-1...not sure the logic behind you telling me to save my money...

All you have to do is bet the ML of the team they are playing.
Sweet 16: $1000 to $2000 to win anything over $110.
Elite 8: $2000 to $4000 to win anything over $1110 to $2110.
Final Four: $4000 to $8000 to win anything over $3110 to $6110.
Nat. Championship: If you lost all the bets until now and St. Mary's is still alive then You have between $7110 and $14110 invested, leaving $58890 to $51890 to spare. Now you can make a wager of $29,445 or $25,945 and be freerolling to a nice chunk of change. Now you can even raise the numbers of the other bets and still come out ahead but you can definitely hedge this bet. Now all you got to do is pray St. Marys does work.....gl

Only problem is they probobly won't be in the tournament. Not being a smartass, that's just reality. This team is not as good as the last few years, where they won a few tourney games.

Jose obviously they looked overmatched tonight...especially once Jorden Page went down (still don't think they would have covered), but definitely would have been closer...
Either way I still think they get in...they have 6 losses, w/ 3 of those losses being against a #1 seed in Gonzaga...they had 2 bad losses early in the season to GT and Pacific....avenged the Pacific loss with a 28 pt blowout against them less then a month later.
They have 2 decent wins over tourney teams (Harvard, Creighton), and played stout on the road throughout the WCC (only loss being a 5 pt loss to zags)...
It's up to the committee now, but I still like their chances!
