Getting one in early before the line jumps:

SF Austin -3: With 5 games left, it's crunch time for Austin as they try to qualify for the Southland tournament in Lake Charles. The 'Jacks are currently tied with UTRGV at 6-9 for the 8th and final spot in the field with both teams a game ahead of 5-10 Incarnate Word (IW and UTRGV play in a critical game tonight). Austin is a traditionally good program that is starting to find it of late, winning their last 4 games including big wins over TAM-CC and UTRGV and a key road win over a decent Northwestern State team. Now they are going on the road tonight which is never easy, but they are facing last-place East Texas AM. East Texas is dead last at 1-14 with zero hope of a playing in the conference tourney. Austin simply cannot afford to mess around here and I don't think they will. SFA did win the first meeting by 7 back in Jan. 27 but are playing much better right now. Defence travels and Austin have the 97th best defensive efficiency in CBB. East Texas has hung around in a lot of their losses and maybe they do again tonight, but I think Austin finds a way to pull away to a win they absolutely have to have. Big 1.75 unit play.

Coppin St. - So. Carolina St over-138.5: Interesting total here when you consider the teams went for 162 last time at Coppin. It was 47-36 at halftime which suggests it wasn't just a final total inflated by a late foul-fest or even garbage time. SC State plays at a very fast pace (KenPom 112th) and Coppin (KenPom 147th) is a mediocre team that usually ends up allowing the opponent to dictate the pace. SCST is having a good season, tied for 2nd with Delaware State and Howard at 5-3, all 2 games behind Norfolk. But these aren't exactly life and death games as all 8 teams make the conference tourney which is always hosted by Norfolk. There are no byes to play for either ... maybe a better first-round matchup and that's about it. I don't see defence being a massive priority for either team as regular season play winds down and I feel like they'll get a lot closer to the 162 they did in the first game than the 138.5 line set for tonight. 1 unit play.

Still waiting for my book to offer up the Northern Iowa at Murray State game after it had to be rescheduled to Monday. I am seeing the line out there is still Murray State -1. If that is the case, I will definitely be on Northern Iowa again after having my wager refunded after the game was postponed today.

The game will now be played at Belmont's gym in Nashville which is around 120 miles from Murray, Ky., so now both teams will have to deal with travel and the home advantage won't be as significant for the Racers. Interestingly, Northern Iowa is scheduled to play at Belmont on Wednesday night. Obviously they are going to just stay in Nashville since the NI campus is around 540 miles away. That should definitely help NI with getting use to the sight lines for when they play Belmont. Something to definitely make note of.

Game might be postponed again, good insight into upcoming game against Belmont.

I’m in that area.. weather fixing to go from bad to worse… so N iowa can just stay there I’d assume for Belmont game.   I did see o/u went up 2-2.5.   Few lows coming up around 3 degrees

 Line just looks funny. -10 was the line @ SFA.  SFA won by 7. Now only giving up 4- to a last place team

Virginia +8 (1H): 'Dook' rolled up 106 at home to Stanford, may take them awhile to adjust to playing on the road against a team that actually defends.
