Just because Timme is on this team doesn't make them the same as last year, as their record isn't undefeated and Suggs is in the NBA. Suggs is one of the greatest point guards to ever play college basketball for one season.
I was a reluctant to bet against Gonzaga since they should be ultra motivated after they stunk it up against a slightly above average Memphis team. You all know I'm not a big metrics guy, Memphis is a good defensive team but a very sloppy offensive team.
Arkansas is a better version of Memphis and Musselman is really good coach. I mostly like to play underdogs when I think they will win, and I lean to
Gonzaga winning, but 9.5 is too heavy IMO.
Arkansas +9.5

Man, this is tough as I've been backing Arizona since they ran wanna Heavyweight champ Juwan Howard and the Wolverines off the court as a 4.5 dog.
Speaking of Arizona, it's a season that they've gone from being the hunter to the hunted. To start the season, Arizona wasn't ranked nationally and was preseason
predicted to finish 9th in the conference. Now they are a #1 seed and rightfully so. But then, here come those Cougars, led by the most underrated coach
in basketball. Without a five star player and 2 starters hurt, they just keep winning. With great team defense and rebounding, here they are in the Sweet Sixteen. Does anyone remember Houston's
last tournament loss? The reigning national champs Baylor destroyed them in the Final Four, and I haven't checked the stats, but that Baylor team has to be arguably
the best 3 point shooting team we've ever seen in a Final Four. That being said, I'm a huge Mathurin fan, but he can't win all on his on. This team should've lost
to TCU, and they should be motivated but they look really tired, wounded, and beat down at the wrong time. They have far exceeded anyone's preseason expectations and
Mathurin knows he's lotto pick. For 40 minutes, the Cougars will put them to the test. Baylor had 4 amazing 3 point shooters, Arizona has 2. That may be the difference.
Houston +1.5

I'm a UNC fan and yeah some may call me an unloyal fan but I bet to make $$$ not to satisfy other Tar Heel fans. Betting with your heart is a recipe for failure in this business.
UNC has overachieved under 1st year head coach Davis. And I know the whole world is looking at how the "zebras" tried to steal that game from UNC when they played
Baylor. Baylor was overseeded IMO. For the last 2 years, they have sandbagged in their conference tourney and teams shouldn't be awarded #1 seeds when the lose early
in their conference tourneys IMO.
Enough of that seeding talk, UCLA has far underachieved all year. As a Final Four participant last year, many, including myself had them going all the way preseason with everyone back. Well, Arizona had something to say about all that and here we are.
Cronin is one of my favorite coaches as I've cashed many tickets with this guy going back to his Cincy days. Rebounding, solid defense, and protecting the ball have always been his modus operandi. He won a ton of games at Cincy with no 5 star players. Now he's converted these pretty boys at UCLA into a powerhouse within a few years.
Either way I'm a UNC fan and know them well. Very unpredictable and very sloppy at the worse times. Everyone seen UNC get blasted by the "zebras" last game and that
gives them the reason to back the Heels.
I'll go contrarian and bet the better team and coach.
UCLA ML and the over.

This is the true Cinderella team of the tournament. I played this team at home frequently in the "Covers NCAAB contest" and started playing them with real cash as they were winning but I didn't know any much about the team.
After watching them play and hearing the coach speak I believed they were the true Cinderella.
St. Peters coached stated and I'm paraphrasing, "The rumor was teams were going to try and bully us and he stated his Kids are from NJ and New York, their not afraid of anything." And that's a fact. An associate of mine stated that Murray St. had the best guards in the country and that they would run St. Peters off the court. I defended St. Peters and stated that Murray St. isn't special as they play a cup cake schedule. When begin to argue a bit and I said if you believe in them so much bet me on it straight up and he declined, the rest is history.
This team was not intimidated by the blue Kentucky and will not be intimated by the Boilermakers. I liked Matt Painter as a player and he's a really good coach, but until he recruits a really good guards, I don't believe he will win at the highest level. Big men are great to have guard play is equally important, and I would argue more important in today's game.
That being said I will take the Cinderella and the +12.5

Great write-ups I agree on all except St Peters, I do believe this time after a week of settling in and coming back to earth the Purdue offense will run them off the court by 20+ - no idea how they will have a chance against Edey. That said I won't bet the game and will instead cheer on the Cinderella.
